The Downtown Throwdown went off! Many of the riders said it was the best pre-season jib contest they have ever done. There were no pesky stairs to injure riders so the level of boarding was out of control.

Lib Tech’s own Sammy Luebke even came out to test his banana on the jibs. His presses were nice, “3rd gear” one might say.

The session was so heated my brain almost exploded especially with the top three riders Ben Bogart, Johnny Miller, and Jed Anderson. It was just trick after trick after trick with these guys. Jed ended up taking it with next level moves and almost perfect consistency. All the riders killed it and the celebrity judges Zach Leach, Sean Genovese, and Jon Kooley made difficult but good calls.
Thanks to Snowboy Productions, Boarderline Bellevue and all the other sponsors for making it happen here in the Northwest! -JB
1st – Jed Anderson
2nd – Johnny Miller
3rd – Ben Bogart
Best Trick – Nick Visconti
