So amped on this board that I just blitzed my local shop and picked one of these bad boys up. But…I have a question “did I get the right size”???? I kinda went with my gut on this one and am looking for some confirmation asap so I can just chill and not worry about having to make a fast exchange before the fountain of bananas runs dry.
    Ok here’s the deal:
I’m 5’9″ and 145lbs, been riding 11 years and primarily ride BAKER…powder heaven. Looking to do more backcountry this year but still loving a lil freestyle. I picked up a 157cm TRS BTX. what do you guys think? Did I make the right call size wise? I just don’t want to be owned by my board. It’s a stiff board and a lil bigger than I’m used to…i dunno…what do you guys think?? Any advice appreciated. cool thanks

You are about the same weight and height as me. I got a 156 last year it a tapered board for freeride and the stance is off center, the board ripped in pow and was easy to turn in the trees. This board looks more true twin shape, however with the banana it should give you the back lean you want in the pow without the taper. Just set your binding back as the stance looks pretty centred on this board and it look to be a. Looking at it again there is a lot of tail on that board. Maybe tuff.
