On a day when everyone else choose to flock to the ski areas of the Tahoe area to unload their hard earned to weave in and out of the mass of people loitering around in the park, we had set our destination in a little different location, conveniently just right down the road. We arrived at the Junkyard in Tahoe and it was an empty canvas waiting for us to draw a painting of our pleasure. The zone is so cool, old tractors, trailers, storage sheds, and more litter this area at the bottom of a mellow pitch. There are dozens of different features to spend the day sessioning with your friends, we had a little break to eat our lunches and drink another Red Bull right there, before proceeding to build and hit a few more snowboarding obstacles. All and all it was a great way to spend the day with my new Banana, and I’ll definitely look forward to doing it again soon.~ Jason Robinson
