Strapless weekend info. The Hurricane Ridge road opens around 9, earlier in good weather. We recommend you get there early since parking is limited. Carpool if you can. This will save you money since it cost $15 to enter the park. That price is good for as many people as you can fit in your car and is good for unlimited entry for 7 days. Lift tickets are $20. If you work at a ski area bring an exchange letter and get a free lift ticket. Schedule will be somewhat flexible but I think to get things off to a good start the powder downhill will be the first event and will have one of the best prizes. First prize will be a Florida powder skate complete. That’s a sub, top deck, and rocker trucks. That’s a must win. That will be followed by a bbq. The afternoon will be the park jam. The park is looking sick. Plenty of rails, boxes, and junkyard jibs. Also quarters, hips, spines and gaps. Non competitors will be allowed to skate the park during the jam sessions so if you are not competing you can still be riding. Sat afternoon/evening will be a skate session at the p.a. Skatepark. No formal events here unless you are trying to pull off the triple s. Just some fun in one of the best parks in the NW. Super secret indoor skate facility incase of rain.
Sunday is race day. For those who have been to the H.R.A.L.B.S before, this years course will be way different. Other events on Sunday will be a tricks for loot contest. What that means is we have a few tricks we want to see done on a snowskate and done well. We call the trick and the person who does it the best on the most challenging terrain wins the prize for that trick. We will finish the day with a raffle. Thanks for coming
