MUSICAL GUEST INFO
DEL THE FUNKY HOMOSAPIEN – Oakland, CA
Del the Funky Homosapien is a true innovator and legend in the world of underground Hip-hop. His detached alternative style is laced with humorous rhymes and funky beats that offer a fresh new outlook on the Hip-Hop scene. With involvement in projects such as Hieroglyphics, Deltron 3030, and the globally embraced “Gorillaz” collaboration, Del’s cult-like following continues to grow. Rolling Stone magazine commented, “Del’s elastic language is the real star here. Rhyming about everything from The Hobbit to Joe Piscopo, he cements his status as rap’s staunchly independent lord of the underground and perhaps the best rapper you’ve never heard.”
Del is a crafted artist, whose hypnotic voice has transcended the norm, taking underground Hip-Hop to an even deeper level. He has successfully released critically acclaimed material for over 10 years, as his lyrics and wordplay are the Midas touch to his wonderful taste in production.
BUKUE ONE – Oakland, CA
There are only a handful of emcees that can truly deliver conscious lyrics with a fun and uplifting flavor. Bukue One is armed with messages that transport us to a world of entertainment, positivity and spirituality. When he’s not on stage rockin’ the mic, he can probably be found skateboarding or graffiti writing – his two other passions. His drive to represent all three skills worldwide has led to the title of his latest project, Triathalon.
LONDON DUNGEON – Denver, CO
In the dark, musty depths of music reside two misshapen and filthy lads. They emerge every once in a great while and regale listeners with their smoking concoction of beats and booms, and those captive audiences can’t help but shake and twist as though caught in the throes of a dastardly seizure. These boys call themselves the London Dungeon!
