Someone Once Said “Only the Good Die Young”

Ten years ago today, our friend Scott Stamnes died in Marseille, France after being hit by a car driven by an unlicensed 14-year old. In his short time on earth, this skateboarder, snowboarder, fisherman, skipper, artist, musician, poet, lover managed to touch all our lives. There are few days that go by that we don’t still think of him… and we are better people for having known him.
Thanks Scott…

Lyrics:
Paid your dues to the maker
Someone once said “only the good die young”
Cities can burn now and seasons start to linger
Skateboard screaming on a cold December Saturday
Seatown stumbles on the day
Clouds start snowing, I guess its gonna be okay
Seatown fumbled through the day
You left your skateboard screaming
On a cold December Saturday

Paid your dues for the maker
Something you did made the whole world feel young
Guaranteed access into heaven
With your skateboard screaming
On a beautiful December day

Seatown fumbled through the day
Snow starts falling I guess its gonna be okay
Seatown stumbled on the day
You left your skateboard screaming
On a cold December Saturday

Skateboard screamin on a cold December Saturday
Skateboard screamin on a cold December Saturday
Skateboard screamin on a Beautiful December day
