Red Mountain BC Hosts Lib Tech and Gnu Grom Midwinter Break Banana Technology Testing Sessions!

Red Mountain was awesome heh!  We were on an official Mervin mission testing boards for Pete, Olson and Cobb and working on cool tricks. We found some steep pow pillows right under the chair, there were chutes, cliffs, endless pow fields, overhead moguls, and a super cool boarder cross course with the 2011 Olympic starting gate and even round red buildings to ride on.  We did boardercross battle three or four times a day, Lib Tech beat Gnu almost every time but it was close.

Red Mtn. kept our parents entertained and out of our way so we could rip…we found them whenever we needed money or food.   They were so tired after riding pow all day with no lift lines and getting a couple of beers in that Rafters Bar they seemed to like so much that they would fall asleep right after dinner so we could play video games and watch MTV. The head guy Eric Kalacis was really nice and gave us beanies and a tour of the mountain, he showed us some scary cliffs that we went back too day after day.  Oh yeah…we liked regular banana in the pow and C2 on the hardpack and stuff.

Lib Tech’s Matteo Soltane ends nap time with an alley oop to rivet stall on the Red walls of the Red Mtn. Daycare center.

Paavo Saari represents Gnu with an arboreal tail grab in the trees before heading into the Paradise lodge for some poutine and a delicious grilled burger.
