The Lib Tech Emma P. is Back in a Stealth Limited Release to Avenge Camber!

The Lib Tech Emma P. is back in a stealth limited release to avenge camber!  Lib Tech has taken this classic board from their 90’s lineup, a NW quiver killing favorite, and reinvented it with C3 – Lib Tech’s camber dominant submissive Banana technology. C3 has all the end-to-end stability, power, and control of traditional camber plus the addition of Banana Tech’s improved carving on hardpack and ice, and easy float in pow. Take this board into your covert lines and rip even harder than you did in the 90’s!  If you can uncover one…

The Emma P. is available in select shops only. 200 boards will be hand signed by artist ‘Nick Danger,’ aka Nick Russian, who conceptualized this board board back in 1992.

“The board was special in many ways. It was supposed to be a cross between a race and a freestyle board you could do anything on. A couple other riders wanted a board that was in between, and I was one of them that was asking Mike and Pete to design a board that could not wash out on heavy turning carves. At the time I was watching reruns of the show The Avengers, and thought Emma Peel was this super rad character, and that helped influence the name of the board. It made me happy about riding when we rode the first prototype, it gave you this powerful sensation that was special like it was meant to be.”

Russian just recently celebrated 20 years with Mervin, and was the first ever Mervin Kraftsmen to cross over to creating art for the boards: “It felt important to be working for Mervin, and fun to be involved with something different I could put my energy towards. I was inspired by being able to use my art for something I cared for. It has been a significant thing done with my art, and I am thankful for all the knowledge, friends, and respect gained from the experience.”

Mervin Manufacturing is fortunate to have had Russian contributing his talents for 20 Bitchin’ years, and marks the occasion with the re-release of Emma P., a double agent for Russian Art, and Lib Technology!
