A few weeks back it was colder than a polar bear’s toenails out there. Ted Borland and the Think Thank “Methods of Prediction” crew were stuck in the midwest amidst a mass of arctic air (called an “Arctic Air Mass”, weirdly enough). The only way they could stay warm was to snowboard. It was a snowboard or die situation. Suffice it to say, they survived.
