Sammy Luebke and Shannon Yates Both Get 2nd Overall in Freeride World Tour

Congratulations to Lib Tech Rippers Sammy Luebke and Shannon Yates for both getting 2nd overall in this years Freeride World Tour!

Sammy Luebke went into the finals at Verbier, Switzerland in first place and he wore a gold bib to because of it. He had a fantastic run on his TRS HP and ended up 3rd in the standings for the final stop of the tour. After it was all said and done Sammy received 2nd place overall and JUST MISSED the 1st place podium by 25 points. “The season was awesome…a lot of ups and downs but a lot of good times. I had a great time with all my friends on the tour. Most of the events went off really well despite the tough conditions this year. I’m just pretty stoked to end the season up there on the podium.” – Sammy L.

Next up, Shannon Yates had a solid run on her Travis Rice Pro and rode hard in the finals. At the end of the day it wasn’t enough to get her the top podium spot and just like Sammy, Shannon came up with 3rd for the day and 2nd overall to end this years Freeride World Tour. “So I did a 3rd today – 2nd overall…I’m really happy with my run today. I maybe could have pushed it a little harder. I was possibly too conservative but it all worked out great and the season was fantastic. Alaska was absolutely wonderful and I’m happy with placing 2nd overall. It was just a great season for me.” – Shannon Y.
