How was your summer? In June I went to Hossegor/France for surfing. I took a part at Czech and Slovak Surfing Championship and I won. :))) the rest of my summer I spent back home taking care of my daughter, she is one year old and everyday with her is full of action. Which board have you been riding this season? Any other Lib product? I rode Lib Tech Skate Banana 156 in the park and 159 Wide in the back country. I was also shredding the TRS, which is my favorite board, but I prefer regular Banana instead of C2. Where are you calling home base this season? I will be based home in Europe and travel around for some good snow. I also want to make a trip to US, if the snow is good over there. What are you looking forward to this winter? It will be my 20th season and I would like to film a documentary about 20 years of riding. Apart of that I'm planning to hit few contests and organize a slopestyle comp, Snowjam. What is the first trip you have planned this fall? I will start riding on European glaciers in October. I want to go to Hintertux and Saas Fee. Who do you look up to in snowboarding? I get inspired by many riders trough the years, but for sure Markku Koski and Jakob Wilhemson are my favorites. Globally I put hands down for Travis Rice, since he is showing us new levels of snowboarding. Do you have a crew? I'm friendly to anyone, but this year I will travel more with Czech riders, specially Sarka Pancochova, since I'm helping her out with her career. I'm also looking forward to meet the Mervin team and go ride some nice powder in the NW. How would you describe your riding style? Snowboarding with smile :) Do you have any snowboarding superstitions or habits? I don't like new boots..it always takes forever to make them comfortable. What trick is the most fun for you? I love to do easy tricks now like backflips, methods and fives.. I also love the feeling of cruising in the pipe.. Where is your favorite place to snowboard? Alaska, Mt. Baker, NZ and home. What videos did you film with this season? This winter I filmed together with Sarka Pancochova documentary for Red Bull. It is a movie about 2 snowboarders coming from Czech, different generations, but same passion.. Who are you filming with this coming season? I would like to produce documentary about my 20 years on board... What is the most radical banana riding you've ever done? AK for sure...but it is incredible how Banana works in pow... Do you prefer short, wide, or big bananas? Depending on the conditions. It just needs to be banana. Can't imagine to go back to camber again. What trick have you been hoping to get on your banana but haven't quite nailed yet? Banana Split :D Are you competing in any contests this coming season? I'm planning to enter few events. Baker Banked Slalom, World Heli Challenge, Snowjam and few more.. Will you be racing in the Legendary Banked Slalom this year? Who do you think will win? Yes, I really want to make it this year, especially because I missed out the last one. It can be anyone..hope it will be myself :DDD What are some of your other hobbies? I love surfing and music. I play piano. Any other projects you would like to talk about? I'm planning to work on some educational project to help Czech kids snowboard better.
