The Downtown Throwdown is back for it’s 2nd Annual stop in San Francisco! New features, amazing riders, over $12K in prize money…it’s gonna be BANANAS!
The DTTD has grown from a local DIY project to the most anticipated and respected urban snowboarding event in the world.
The confirmed riders for DTTD/SF: Dylan Thompson, Dylan Alito, Brandon Hobush, Sean Black, Austin Hironaka, Ted Borland, Andrew Brewer, Ryan Paul, Brandon Hammid, Johnny Brady, Yale Cousino, Jaeger Bailey, Max Warbington, Stefan Krumm, Austen Sweetin, Danyale Peterson, Chris Larson, Sammy Spiterri, Brandon Reis, Zak Hale, Nial Romanek and Daniel Brown.
One of these amazing riders will join Dan Brisse, Jed Anderson (twice), Nick Visconti, Ryan Paul, Brandon Hobush (twice) and last years SF champ Dylan Alito as DTTD top bananas!
DWD and Bent Metal’s Sean Genovese and his JudgeMENTAL team including Gnu’s Forest Bailey and Monster Energy’s Bode Miller have their work cut out for them in deciding who gets a share of the $12,500 in cardboard I.O.U.’s and the Monster Moment Best Trick.
Lib Tech Ripper and Think Thank mastermind Jesse Burtner will handle the emcee duties alongside Crab Grab’s Preston Strout so you will be entertained and educated on all things shred while DJ Whooligan blends it all together.
After the event head over to the Milk Bar for Arnette’s DTTD Afterparty (21+) for drinks and good times with the riders, lurkers and homies. Good music, drink specials and we will be playing Think Thank’s Mind the Video Man and the DWD Team movie.
