The T.Rice Pro and the Snowboards of The Fourth Phase

When you catch Travis Rice’s latest epic snowboard adventure opus “The Fourth Phase” (Sunday at 9pm on Red Bull TV) you might notice something. Well a couple of things; first that this movie is at once stunningly beautiful, radical and thought provoking in a way that demands your presence on the mountain. It makes you want to grab your friends and head out on an epic snowboard trip of your own. Secondly you’ll notice that, “Damn!” those Lib Tech snowboards look insane!

Travis Rice along with fellow Lib Rippers Mark Landvik and Eric Jackson lead an hour and half parade of the World’s Best Boards spinning, flipping, slashing, flying and stomping across the big screen in the epic 4k beauty Red Bull Media House is known for. And it’s no surprise that they are doing it on a quiver of C2 (camber / rocker hybrid) shred sleds handcrafted in the USA by action craftsmen at the world’s most environMENTAL board factory, Mervin Mfg.

The C2 contour is akin to one of Travis’ natural hit backside 720 nose grabs, perfection. C2 is a powerful and poppy but still floaty powder friendly derivative of the revolutionary Banana technology introduced on the Lib Tech Skate Banana 10 years ago. Travis is a playful rider who loves the fun and control of Banana but takes a macro approach to snowboarding and life, his version of playful is usually 100 feet further than most. So it makes sense that the playful and powerful combination of C2 is his favorite contour keeping the rocker between the feet and placing cambers under foot for precise power and pop without sacrificing lightning fast reaction and float in powder.

Mark Landvik is back again with his signature power and backcountry creativity on his pro model the C2 Lando Phoenix.

The C2 contour is featured throughout Travis’ entire line. The flagship of which is his aerial assault weapon of choice the T.Rice Pro snowboard. Available in both blunt and pointy shapes the T.Rice pro has flown Travis around the globe a few dozen times over. Helping him on his way to podiums and legendary video parts then landing him cleanly back in Jackson Hole ready for another monster kicker session or early up tram ride with the homies.

When “The Fourth Phase” drops Sunday at 9pm in your zone, you’ll be witness to countless amazing T.Rice Pro moments as well as mind melting action from Lib Tech Rippers Mark Landvik and Eric Jackson. That’s right Alaska’s favorite son Mark Landvik is back again with his signature power and backcountry creativity on his pro model the C2 Lando Phoenix snowboard. And coming in to the fold this year the bearded banshee Eric Jackson taking the award winning C2 Lib Tech Total Ripper Series snowboard in to some of the most jaw dropping lines and tricks of the film.

Pick your perfection, three different styles of the World’s Best Boards, all made with the same goal in mind, ripping the entire mountain top to bottom with your own line and style. And doing so on a stick handcrafted in the USA, made environmentally nicer at Mervin Mfg. producing zero hazardous waste and 100% stoke for snowboarding!
