Lib Tech’s first annual Lord’s of Seatown event went down recently at Marginal Way Skatepark in Seattle, WA and it was a damn good time. The whole Seattle skate community rallied around the event/fundraiser for the DIY park with everybody helping out as either a sponsor, volunteer, judge, emcee or by giving a few bucks outta their wallets. At the end of the day the event raised $2645.00 to help finish the next section of the park. There was also a grand in cash up for grabs too so there were heavy lines put together all afternoon. When it all finished, Max Hohlbein edged out Danny Tumia, Brice Neibuhr, young buck Kyle Ward and Jamie Jacobson. Check out the photo gallery by Tim Zimmerman and the video edit to see some of what went down.
Thanks to Lib Tech, Marginal Way Skatepark Association, Jones Soda Co., SnoCon, Sausage Skateboards, Black Market Skateboards, Dirty Bearings, evo, Amigos Skateboards, The Foundry, Grindline and Quincy Quigg for making the event the success that it was. We can’t wait for next year!
Final results:
- Max Hohlbein – $500
- Danny Tumia -$300
- Brice Niebuhr -$200
- Kyle Ward & Jamie Jacobson (tie)
