Chris Kaar for Lib Tech Ski, “Waking Hour” Full Video!

Lib Tech Ski is proud to announce Chris Kaar to our official team roster!
What’s worth spending time on? For Austrian Chris Kaar it’s artistic expression through skiing. Whether that be new spots, new tricks, laughing with friends, taking in the city life or making movies of it all with his twin brother Philipp. On skis Chris is an equal opportunity Ripper with a flare for the unconventional and creative. He’s equally comfortable on jumps, street rails, terrain parks and powder but you’ll most likely find him and his crew filming on an unorthodox mini shred spot in the Tyrolean low lands.

In their latest video project “The Waking Hour” Chris and brother Phillipp search for an answer to that seminal question that every single person on earth asks; “What’s worth spending time on?”. What they create in the process is a beautiful coming of age skiing tapestry woven together with organic creativity, good friends, new spots, great tricks, funny slams and a fully realized artistic direction made complete with a contemplative narration. What starts out sounding like a late night call from a drunk friend turns in to a soul searching narrator looking for answers at a critical time between adolescence and adult hood. “The Waking Hour” asks, how long can anyone hide out just skiing, partying and living for fun alone? Hopefully for all our sake Chris Kaar and company can keep it going for many years to come because they’re efforts both in front of and behind the lens are an especially refreshing breath of artistic energy and narrative in an overly HD ski porn world.

So what’s worth spending time on? Lib Tech skis are. But other than that “you gotta search for yourself to find the answer.” Welcome Chris Kaar to the team, we can’t wait to see what’s to come!
