Environmentally Nicer The Movie

At Lib Tech we make our skis in the world’s most environmentally friendly board building facility, Mervin Mfg. right here in Sequim, WA. We use fast growing FSC certified wood, wind and water powered electricity, non toxic bio-resin and our popping eco-sublimated graphics which keep us ZERO HAZARDOUS WASTE with absolutely no toxic silk screen bi-product. We also celebrate the dirt bag turning our sawdust to soil. Every couple of weeks we truck the sawdust from the core shop next door to some friends in the compost business and they get busy ‘postin it up to be used to grow all sorts of produce around Washington. Fruits, veggies, probably some lavender and maybe even some weeds… For Lib Tech co-founder and froth puppy emeritus Pete Saari this just means more vertical feet to the compost pile for those days he can’t make it to Hurricane Ridge. We tried to get Lucas Wachs and the rest of the Lib Tech Ski team to meet Pete up on the compost pile for some up-cycled face shots but they were too busy shredding mountains with actual snow and doing tricks and stuff. Here’s an edit celebrating our awesome crew of Rippers and amazing factory; from dirt bag beginnings to dirt pile mountains and every environmental initiative along the way. We’re not perfect but we’re trying to be and we’re definitely “Environmentally Nicer”!
